Joanna Mendez, dedicated Executive Director at Jessie's, brings over two decades of non-profit expertise. With strong ties to her Latin American heritage, her journey in advocacy and support reflects unwavering commitment, compassion, and strategic leadership. Having experienced young parenthood firsthand, Joanna's dedication is deeply personal. She understands the unique challenges young parents face, and she passionately works to break down barriers and amplify opportunities in alignment with Jessie's mission and vision. Joanna's path stands as an inspiring testament to the power of dedication, empathy, and lived experience in driving meaningful change.
Faith Hatchett
Director of Programs and Operations

Faith Hatchett has worked in the health-care sector as a registered nurse for over 20 years supporting the pregnancy, birth, and parenting journeys of many families in various hospital and community settings. Through this experience, she has developed a deep passion and commitment in working with pregnant youth, young families and their children, integrating the social determinants of health, social justice and equity principles in all aspects of her work. Faith started her work at Jessie’s Centre in 2015, as a Health Promotion Nurse. In 2022, Faith transitioned into the role of Director of Programs & Operations and completed her Masters of Nursing degree in the leadership and education field of study. She enjoys traveling to warm destinations and all things that promote wellness.
