We stand firmly behind the belief that a woman understands her life best and will make decisions that are most fitting for her. Our Counsellors answer all questions/concerns without judgment on any decision that a woman makes.
We want you to know that you are fully supported no matter what you choose to do.
For young women who are pregnant and unsure as to what they want to do, our Counsellors are here to provide accurate, unbiased information about all their options: abortion, adoption, parenting.
Getting Started
If you are pregnant or have a child and are 18 years old or younger, you are eligible to receive our services. Please call to make an intake appointment. Services are free, and confidential.
What is an intake?
An intake is a face-to-face appointment with a trained Counsellor at Jessie's Centre, who will provide information about our services and programs and will give you a tour of our centre. The Counsellor will also ask you some questions to find out about your unique needs. The intake appointment is also an opportunity for you to discuss your thoughts and feelings around your pregnancy and or parenting.
Once you've completed the intake...
Once you have joined Jessie's Centre, you can drop in anytime you like. You are welcome to hang out and enjoy the parent-child centre, talk with other pregnant teens and young parents. You can also drop in and speak with your Counsellor and get help with things that you are not sure about. You can always get a snack and there is usually an activity to participate in everyday.
